This is our last week in Auburn until we come back from the Big Apple! We are seeing and visiting family for the last time until sometime mid-August. It is really exciting to us that our time to leave is quickly approaching! We cannot wait to be in NJ and NY!!!
We left for my (MaeLee) hometown last Wednesday night to be at the hospital in Mobile Thursday morning for the birth of Miss Lenora Jean Butler. We are so happy we were asked to be there for such a special and memorable day in Sarah and Neal’s lives and Lenora’s. After several hours of being in labor, Lenora’s heart rate as dropping and the safest option was doing a c-section on Sarah. Within 45 minutes after they took her back, we were able to see the most beautiful baby girl in the world!! Just take a look at her. 🙂
We didn’t get to hold her that night because we had to head back to Monroeville, BUT we did go back the next day and get the opportunity to hold this precious baby. Check out Aunt MaeLee and Uncle Timbo during our holding time.
(check out that bow on her beautiful little head! Total Cuteness!)
While we were in Monroeville, we stayed with my Paw-Paw two nights and had some time with him. He is one awesome man! We love him so much and learn a lot from him and what he has to say. He is also one funny man!! It seems like we are always laughing while we are with him.
On Friday we had lunch with my mom to help celebrate her birthday. Friday night we went out to dinner with my parents, brother(Ethan), and Paw-Paw to celebrate my mom’s birthday as a family.
(Daddy and Paw-Paw)
We spent Saturday morning with Paw-Paw and parents/brother. After lunch we headed back to Auburn to have dinner with some very dear people to our heart…Melissa Hooper and Elijah! Melissa’s sister-in-law and daughter also joined us for dinner. We were so grateful to be able to see them for a little bit while they were in Auburn visiting.
(A little blurry, but it will do. This is sweet Elijah)
(this is how we found Tim watching Elijah…kidding!!)
Now this week we are working with 6th grade at Lakeview’s VBS. It has been a great week thus far. Tim will leave for Southern Baptist Convention in New Orleans on Sunday and I will leave to be with my family for Father’s Day and spend some time with them and the Butler’s (mainly to just see and hold Lenora, but don’t tell them that).
Please let us know how we can be praying for all of you! We love you guys!
